GRANDADDY STORIES
GRANDADDY guitarist JIM FAIRCHILD is recovering after being run over by his own tour bus.
Before the Californian indie rockers set off for a show in Phoenix, Arizona last week (ends30MAY03) Fairchild decided to indulge in a spot of drinking, which led to him falling under the wheels of the moving coach.
The wheel met with Fairchild's shoulder, but, despite some broken bones, he was able to continue playing guitar after only missing one of the group's shows.
The band - who are releasing their third studio album, SUMDAY, on 10 June (03) - are insisting their upcoming British will go ahead.
