DE LA SOUL, IKE TURNER and HAPPY MONDAYS singer SHAUN RYDER will join GORILLAZ star DAMON ALBARN to pay tribute to the animated rock group he formed with cartoonist JAMIE HEWLETT. NENEH CHERRY and ROOTS MANUVA will be among the stars celebrating the success of Gorillaz's hit album DEMON DAYS during a five-night stint at New York's Apollo Theater. The concerts, which will run from 2 April (06) to 6 April (06), will mirror a UK staging of DEMON DAYS LIVE, which took place in Manchester last November (05).
