GORILLAZ - GORILLAZ EQUAL OASIS' SUCCESS AT Q AWARDS

NEWS BY ARTIST ALPHABETICALLY


GORILLAZ walked away from today's (10OCT05) Q Awards ceremony in London with two awards, equalling Oasis' success earlier in the day.

Animated band Gorillaz, fronted by BLUR star DAMON ALBARN, took home gongs for Best Video and Best Producer, while Oasis were recipients of the more prestigious Best Album and People's Choice awards.

U2 were named Best Live Act, following the recent success of their Vertigo World Tour.

Soldier-turned-singer JAMES BLUNT was hailed as The Best New Act at the ceremony held by British music magazine Q at the Grosvenor House Hotel in the capital.

Best Act In The World Today - COLDPLAY

Best Video - GORILLAZ, FEEL GOOD INC

Best Track - KT TUNSTALL, BLACK HORSE AND THE CHERRY TREE

Best Live Act - U2

Best Producer - GORILLAZ/DANGER MOUSE for GORILLAZ's DEMON DAYS.
