SEX AND THE CITY - GOLDEN GLOBE TELEVISION AWARDS HONOUR SEX AND THE CITY

The four lead stars of departing comedy SEX AND THE CITY have all been nominated for acting gongs at next year's GOLDEN GLOBES ceremony (04).

SARAH JESSICA PARKER is included in the Best Actress in a comedy category alongside WILL + GRACE star DEBRA MESSING. And KIM CATTRALL, CYNTHIA NIXON and KRISTEN DAVIS dominate the Best Supporting Actress category.

Other notable nominees include KIEFER SUTHERLAND who is nominated in the Best Dramatic actor category alongside THE WEST WING's MARTIN SHEEN.

SIX FEET UNDER - which failed to win any major gongs despite the large number of nominations at this year's ceremony (03) is named in the Best Television Drama Series and star FRANCES CONROY is one of the Best Actress nominees.

FRIENDS - which also airs its final series next year (04)- has only one nomination, MATT LeBLANC for Best Comedy Actor.

The ceremony will be held in Los Angeles on 25th January (04).
