GLASSJAW - GLASSJAW CANCEL REST OF BRITISH TOUR AFTER SINGER FALLS ILL AGAIN

Metal legends GLASSJAW have cancelled the remaining dates of their British tour after frontman DARYL PALUMBO was hospitalised in Glasgow (10APR03) with another relapse of CROHN'S DISEASE.

The cancellation casts a shadow on the long term future of the rock band after Palumbo suffered his third relapse in the space of six months.

The New Yorkers had to cancel their first UK tour in October (02), and also cancelled the rescheduled dates in December (02) due to Palumbo's debilitating stomach condition, which is not life threatening.

A spokesperson for the band says, "It is with absolute regret that we have to announce that the remaining dates of Glassjaw's tour have been cancelled due to vocalist Daryl Palumbo being hospitalised having suffered another serious relapse of Crohn's disease."
