Gibson's Passion Scoops Best Film Honour
MEL GIBSON'S controversial movie THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST has been named best picture in the 10th annual MOVIEFONE MOVIEGOER AWARDS.
While the film was overlooked for any major category at the ACADEMY AWARDS, hordes of fans made it their choice.
Other winners, chosen by nearly 4 million voters, include actor JOHNNY DEPP for FINDING NEVERLAND, actress JULIA ROBERTS for CLOSER, supporting actor MORGAN FREEMAN for MILLION DOLLAR BABY and supporting actress EMMA WATSON for HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN.
