RICKY GERVAIS - GERVAIS TEAMS UP WITH TAP

British funnyman RICKY GERVAIS is so thrilled he has been invited to work with the team behind THIS IS SPINAL TAP, he is terrified it is all a dream.

THE OFFICE creator will star alongside CHRISTOPHER GUEST, MICHAEL McKEAN and HARRY SHEARER in FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION - which takes a humorous look at award ceremonies.

But Gervais is such a huge fan of the team's 1984 rock spoof, he fears the exciting offer is too good to be true.

He says, "Tap was one of my biggest influences and Guest has got the entire team back together.

"It's a great thing to be offered - the sort that makes me wake up tomorrow to find it's all been a dream, I'm late for school and I haven't done my biology homework."
