GERI HALLIWELL - GERI KNITS ON SEX AND THE CITY SET

Singer GERI HALLIWELL has bagged a cameo role in the final series of SEX AND THE CITY - and kept herself occupied during breaks by knitting.

The former SPICE GIRL is recording a brief role as PHOEBE KITTENWORTH, a friend of KIM CATTRALL's raunchy character SAMANTHA JONES.

And LIFT ME UP songstress Geri showed off her aptitude at the clothes-making hobby in between shoots.

A source tells British tabloid THE SUN, "Geri uses knitting to unwind. She seems to have gone from Girl Power to Purl Power."

Meanwhile, JULIA ROBERTS' big screen boyfriend in FULL FRONTAL is set to join the cast of the HBO show as a new suitor.

BLAIR UNDERWOOD will appear in four episodes of the current final season, but he has been forbidden from revealing which of the four central characters he'll date.

TATUM O'NEAL has also confirmed she'll be playing a photographer in an upcoming episode of the show.
