GEORGE MICHAEL - GEORGE MICHAEL'S CAR BEING SOLD ON EBAY

British pop singer GEORGE MICHAEL has put his luxury car up for auction to help raise money for charity.

The CARELESS WHISPER star's black Range Rover is currently on internet auction site eBay, and boasts a "massive stereo system".

The vehicle, which the star paid $95,000 (GBP50,000) for in 1991, has a glamorous history - it was clamped while Michael was enjoying a night out with supermodel LINDA EVANGELISTA in 1992.

The advert states, "This is a one-off, as this gentleman's vehicles would normally be handed down to family or friends.

"George has decided to sell the car to raise money for one of his favourite charities."

Bidding for the item - which will benefit an undisclosed charity - closes on Tuesday (26APR05).
