Pop star GEORGE MICHAEL has agreed to attend SIR ELTON JOHN's wedding party next month (DEC05).

The former duet partners fell-out last November (05) after John accused Michael of being an unhappy drug-user and branded his number one album PATIENCE "disappointing".

However, the pair renewed their friendship over dinner in the summer (05), and John has invited Michael and his partner KENNY GOSS to join their post-nuptials celebration.

The CANDLE IN THE WIND hitmaker and his partner DAVID FURNISH have invited only their parents to their marriage ceremony on 21 December, shortly after homosexual marriages become legal in the UK for the first time.

Michael says, "Absolutely, I'm going to the wedding. I think it'll be low-key."

The TOO FUNKY singer is having problems finding a gift for John and Furnish, explaining, "Elton always knows what to buy me - that's what's so embarrassing. I never know what to buy him. I'm too embarrassed to try because's he's got so much. What can you buy the man?"
