GEORGE CLOONEY - GEORGE CLOONEY: I WISH I WAS LIKE MY FATHER

Movie superstar GEORGE CLOONEY wishes he was more like his father - because NICK CLOONEY has the courage to stand by his instincts.
But despite his shortcomings, the OCEAN'S ELEVEN star hopes some of his father's characteristics have rubbed off on him.
He says, "He's brighter than I am, and he's the guy who, on every issue, stands up and points.
"He's a big old liberal. He writes for the newspaper, and he just goes for everybody. God, I wish I had the nerve to do what he does."
However, George isn't afraid to make statements that disagree with his fellow Americans - he was a vocal anti-war activist before and during the conflict in Iraq, something his father praised him for.
George continues, "He said, 'You want to be on the right side of history. You don't want to be the last guy marching with MARTIN LUTHER KING. You can take it.' And I can take it. Bring it on."
