Movie beauty JENNIFER GARNER served STEVE MARTIN for years as a waitress before she hit the big time.

The brunette actress worked in New York eaterie ISABELLA'S before she got her big break starring as twin WANDA in DUDE, WHERE'S MY CAR? - which led to her snapping the lead role in hit TV series ALIAS.

Garner recalls, "When I started out I used to waitress at Isabella's. Steve Martin used to come in from lunch.

"When I was finally introduced to him last year (03), he looked at me as though he knew me. 'Did you audition with me or something?' he asked. I said, 'No, but I used to wait on you at table five every day!'"
