GANG OF FOUR - GANG OF FOUR REFORM

NEWS BY ARTIST ALPHABETICALLY

The original line-up of legendary post-punk act GANG OF FOUR are reuniting for the first time since 1982.

The British group, who have been cited as an influence by bands including NIRVANA, FRANZ FERDINAND, FUGAZI, BIG BLACK and RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, will play five UK concerts in January next year (05).

Vocalist JON KING, guitarist ANDY GILL, bassist DAVE ALLEN, and drummer HUGO BURNHAM open the tour at Manchester Academy on 23 January, before bringing the brief trek to a close at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire on 28 January.

The concerts aren't the first time Gang Of Four have regrouped. In 1991 the band released an album, MALL; another reunion resulted in 1995's SHRINKWRAPPED.

The band are still best known for their 1979 debut, ENTERTAINMENT!
