THE SOPRANOS star JAMES GANDOLFINI is ready to quit the multi award-winning mafia drama after the next season.

Gandolfini, who plays mob boss TONY SOPRANO in the highly-acclaimed TV programme, will film another sixth series, reportedly the show's last, before moving on.

The 43-year-old says, "I'm ready to go."
