OASIS rocker NOEL GALLAGHER is looking forward to collaborating with dance outfit THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS again. The guitarist - who worked with the duo on their 1996 single SETTING SUN and LET FOREVER BE in 1999 - is still proud of his electronica work, despite aborted plans to break back into the dance scene with an Oasis and DEATH IN VEGAS combined effort in 2004. He says, "We kind of thought it's time to step outside of our own studio and go and try something a bit different, and it's well documented that we didn't have the right songs to go and tackle the project (with Death In Vegas). "We thought it was going to be great, we got in there and turned the tapes on and it was a little bit s**t. "But I would have loved to have worked more with the Chemicals, still would actually. I still think Setting Sun to this day is one of the best things I've ever done, much to (brother and bandmate) LIAM's disappointment."
