FUN WITH DICK AND JANE has beat off competition from STEVEN SPIELBERG's Oscar-nominated movie MUNICH to maintain the top spot in the UK box office chart.

The JIM CARREY comedy took GBP1.38 million ($2.5 million) in its second week on release, ahead of Spielberg's controversial film, about the murder of 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games - which took just GBP1.2 million ($2.2 million) over the weekend (27-29JAN06).

JENNIFER ANISTON and KEVIN COSTNER's romantic comedy RUMOR HAS IT entered the chart at number three and took GBP800,000 ($1.4 million) followed by ANG LEE's multi Oscar-nominated gay cowboy romance BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, which fell one place.

In fifth position was the big screen adaptation of ARTHUR GOLDEN's bestselling novel MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA.
