Award-winning sit-com FRIENDS is about to make its debut on Chinese television - despite nearing the end of its nine year run in the rest of the world.
The American NBC network's flagship show - which stars JENNIFER ANISTON, COURTENEY COX, MATTHEW PERRY, MATT LeBLANC, DAVID SCHWIMMER and LISA KUDROW - will begin airing on leading broadcaster CHINA CENTRAL TELEVISION next year (04).
Industry sources predict that unleashing the antics of the coffee-loving New York singletons to the country will make the show even more money - as the country is home to the world's biggest potential audience.
Chinese viewers will know the show as LAOYOUJI, which translates as OLD FRIENDS STORY.
