DAVID SCHWIMMER - FRIENDS STARS REALLY ARE SPACEY + NERDY

FRIENDS stars DAVID SCHWIMMER and LISA KUDROW are the sitcom castmembers who are closest to their characters ROSS and PHOEBE.

Kooky Kudrow might be a top scholar but couldn't remember the names of her male co-stars for the first few weeks of the show.

She says, "People would ask me, 'Who's in your show?' and I'd say, 'There's a couple of guys named David. Or a couple of guys named Matt. I don't remember.'

"Then I'd see them and I still wasn't sure."

Meanwhile, Schwimmer admits he's a little bit nerdy like his character Ross, who's a paleontology lecturer in the show.

He says, "I read NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC and I'm genuinely interested in paleontology."
