Comedian JAMIE FOXX keeps people who dislike him in his social circle - because he always relies on them for the truth.

The COLLATERAL star admits he likes to socialise with those who aren't genuine friends of his, because they'll be direct with him about their feelings.

He says, "I have people around me, both good and bad, and that keeps me balanced.

"There are guys out there who I know don't like me necessarily, but they hang out with me, and I always get the honest opinion from them.

"It's an old cliche, but it's best to keep your enemies close."
