JANET JACKSON - FORMER MOTHER-IN-LAW 'BELIEVED' JANET JACKSON WAS PREGNANT

LATEST: JANET JACKSON's former mother-in-law claims she "always believed" the pop beauty gave birth to secret child in the 1980s, although she has no proof of the child's existence.

Jackson married singer JAMES DeBARGE in 1984 when she just 18, but it was annulled the following year (85).

On Friday (21OCT05), DeBarge's brother YOUNG DeBARGE told New York City radio station Hot 97, that Jackson has given birth to a baby girl called RENEE - now 18 - who is being brought up by Jackson's sister REBBIE.

Young and James' mother, ETTERLINE DeBARGE, tells the New York Daily News, "I've always believed that (she gave birth). Of course I do.

"I knew she was pregnant. She was heavy. I have an instinct. I can tell.

"It's like accusing somebody of murder when you can't find a body. We don't know for sure."

The ALL FOR YOU singer's publicist has refused to confirm or deny allegations Jackson has a child, insisting she didn't wish to comment.
