Former HOME IMPROVEMENT star ZACHERY BRYAN is engaged to his longtime girlfriend CARLY MATROS.

Bryan, 24, and Matros, 23 - who plan to marry in the summer (06) - were close friends who had known each other since their days as school children, but only began dating two years ago.

The actor's representative AMANDA GLAZER says, "They are thrilled and excited for the pending nuptials."

Bryan, who is currently shooting sequel THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS: TOKYO DRIFT, will next hit screens in the TV movie CODE BREAKERS.
