Troubled rapper DMX is set to team up with his one-time arch-enemy IRV GOTTI, as both start 2006 free men.

Gotti beat his money laundering rap in December (05), while DMX was released from New York's Riker's Island prison last month (10JAN06) after serving more than two months for a 2004 car theft incident.

And now the former foes are planning to work together after Gotti visited DMX in prison.

The Inc record boss says, "I went to go see him at Rikers just to see how he was doing and to say what's up to him. It came up that he wanted to f**k around (work) with me.

"I'm pretty sure you will be seeing us doing things in the future or me producing a record with X."
