British singer/songwriter JULIA FORDHAM's sister has cashed in on her sibling's success by writing a book about life on the road with the HAPPY EVER AFTER star.

Sister CLAIRE FORDHAM spent a year as the singer's assistant and wrote musings and thoughts in a journal.

Her notes have now been turned into a comical look at life in the shadow of a famous sibling, entitled PLUS ONE: A YEAR IN THE LIFE OF A HOLLYWOOD NOBODY.

The California-based singer is thrilled for her sister and insists the new book, released next month (JUN05), is terrific.

She says, "It's all about Claire's adventures here in LA LA land, tagging along with me as my Plus One as I go on tour and to parties in Tinseltown.

"One of the reasons Claire moved to LA to live with me, after her kids grew up and left home, was she thought she stood more of a chance of meeting GEORGE CLOONEY if she lived in the same country as him."

The book isn't the only new arrival Julia Fordham is excited about - she's set to become a mother for the first time on 30 May (05).

She adds, "Apart from the fact that I have feet that look like

the paws of an elephant, all is swell (literally) and dandy and I am all ready for the due date."
