RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS - FLEA: 'SOCK MAN GAG COULD RETURN ON TOUR'

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS star FLEA insists the group could thrill fans by donning socks on their manhoods again and stripping onstage at any time. The California rockers used to be famous for stripping down to strategically-placed underwear but fans fear the group have matured and now the ruse is a thing of the past. Bassist Flea, however, claims the 'Sock Man' gag could return at any moment. He says, "It's a good look. It might have to return one day. "For that to happen, we'd have to be backstage before an encore and someone in the band would have to yell out, 'Sock man', and then everyone would have to feel the enthusiasm for the Sock Man."
