Colin Firth - Firth's Girth Letters

British hunk COLIN FIRTH is still deluged with fan mail paying homage to his tight breeches in BBC drama PRIDE AND PREJUDICE - but is disappointed he never gets "nude pictures" with them.

The 43-year-old actor - who played literary heart-throb MR DARCY in the 1995 adaptation - is shocked he still receives letters in the style of the novel's 19th century author JANE AUSTEN congratulating him on the size of his private parts - but he jokes that he would like his devotees to spice up their correspondence.

He says, "Most people write very carefully worded, very Jane Austen-esque letters.

"I never get any filthy, perverted stuff and no nude pictures, which I find very sad."
