FIGHT CLUB - FIGHT CLUB: THE MUSICAL

Gritty film FIGHT CLUB is the latest Hollywood hit to be transformed into a Broadway show.

The 1999 thriller, which starred BRAD PITT, EDWARD NORTON and HELENA BONHAM CARTER, is to become the basis for a New York show, once a songwriter is found to pen suitable accompanying tracks.

A spokesman for author CHUCK PALAHNIUK, who wrote the original novel, told American gossip site THE SCOOP, "It's still in the discussion stage."
