GEORGE CLOONEY - FERRER BLAMELESS IN SKATEBOARDER COLLISION

GEORGE CLOONEY's actor cousin MIGUEL FERRER has been cleared of any wrongdoing after hitting a careless skateboarder on Hollywood Boulevard earlier this month (DEC04).

The TWIN PEAKS star ran into the homeless skateboarder, knocking him over the bonnet of his car and leaving him with a broken right knee.

But police, who were called to the scene, have declared the actor was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.

In a police statement, a spokesman says, "He was minding his own business and is a victim of circumstance."
