FRANZ FERDINAND - FERDINAND EAGER TO TEAM UP WITH DOGG

FRANZ FERDINAND singer ALEX KAPRANOS has accepted rapper SNOOP DOGG's invitation to join him in the studio.

Simply referring to the band as "the people that sang TAKE ME OUT", the hip-hop veteran last month (MAR05) announced his desire to collaborate with the Scottish rockers on a mixed-genre tune.

And while Franz Ferdinand share Snoop Dogg's enthusiasm, they've hit back at the rapper by pretending to forget his name in their response.

Singer ALEX KAPRANOS says, "Someone told me the guy who does DROP IT LIKE IT'S HOT wants to collaborate with us. That's great. I love that song and like his style."
