Bad-boy actor COLIN FARRELL is being tipped to play Hollywood legend MONTGOMERY CLIFT in a story about his life.
Director JAMES FOLEY is planning to bring the story of the troubled MISFITS star Clift to the silver screen - and wants PHONE BOOTH star Farrell to star in the lead role.
Clift was one of Hollywood's biggest stars in the 1950s, but died at just 45 in 1966, after a car crash wrecked his matinee-idol looks and a constant struggle with his homosexuality.
