Movie hunk COLIN FARRELL is dispensing with his lothario reputation - in a bid to put all his energies into caring for baby son JAMES.

The PHONE BOOTH star has spent the last few years working his way through a string of gorgeous girlfriends, including BRITNEY SPEARS and ANGELINA JOLIE.

But the arrival of baby James - whose mother KIM BORDENAVE remains a close friend of Colin's - has changed Farrell's priorities completely and he wants to ditch his bad boy reputation.

A source says, "Colin is inundated with women throwing themselves at him. But he's putting his romances with lusty ladies on hold.

"He's had enough of playing the field and just wants to be there for James. He realises what's important to him now he is a dad and he one thing is looking after his son.

"Kim is delighted. Colin and James see as much of each other as possible and Colin completely looks after them and makes sure they want for nothing.

"He is like a new man and no longer spends time going so wild. Those crazy ways are definitely long gone."
