Hollywood hunk COLIN FARRELL has been mysteriously dropped from the cast of a new film about legendary singer/songwriter BOB DYLAN. The PHONE BOOTH star has reportedly been replaced by HEATH LEDGER, who will be one of six different people to play the veteran musician. US columnist ROGER FRIEDMAN says, "The reason for Farrell's departure is unknown." RICHARD GERE and CHRISTIAN BALE are among the other actors to play Dylan in I'M NOT THERE, which starts shooting this summer (06).
