Big Fish - Ewan Mcgregor's Near Miss With Elephant Co-Star

Movie actor EWAN McGREGOR was forced to improvise on the set of his latest movie, when an elephant decided it needed the toilet in the middle of a scene.

The 32-year-old star was filming the circus-set BIG FISH in Alabama, America with director TIM BURTON when the incident occurred.

Ewan says, "The moment when the elephant c**ps on screen was amazing.

"We'd done a wide shot where you see the elephant's bum, with me in the foreground. We'd then moved in to do a close-up, and the crew set the camera up.

"Just as we started filming again the elephant lifted its tail up and I thought we would stop filming.

"But they just kept the camera on and I had to play out the scene as it dumped next to me."
