FAITH EVANS - EVANS GIVES BACK B.I.G.'S ASHES

R+B star FAITH EVANS has given her late husband NOTORIOUS BIG's ashes back to his mother, so his spirit can rest.

Notorious BIG - real name CHRISTOPHER WALLACE - was gunned down in a drive-by shooting eight years ago (97) after getting caught in a violent feud between members of SEAN 'P DIDDY' COMBS' BAD BOY record label and music rivals DEATH ROW RECORDS.

Until recently, the YOU USED TO LOVE ME singer - often regarded as the most famous widow in R+B - kept his ashes with her in an urn, but she's finally handed them back to his mother, VOLETTA WALLACE.

Evans explains, "After a while, something didn't feel right about having a part of him with us.

"I didn't feel his spirit would be want to be moving around with us to all those places."
