EVA LONGORIA - EVA TO PLAY TERI IN SPOOF OF DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES BUST-UP

EVA LONGORIA will spoof the famous VANITY FAIR cover shoot fracas that left gossips claiming the DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES stars were at war with each other when she hosts SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE tonight (19NOV05).

But Longoria plans to give the skit, about the reported spat, an extra spin - by playing castmate TERI HATCHER.

Hatcher reportedly burst into tears during the photoshoot after castmate MARCIA CROSS flew into an alleged rage over the length of the job and her positioning in the group cover shot.

The stars of the show have refused to discuss exactly what went on at the photoshoot, but have always maintained the publication's version of events was skewed.

As well as showcasing her comic timing on the weekly US satirical show, Longoria will be showing off her singing skills sort of.

She says, "I'll be rapping and singing horrible. I can't sing."
