JEFF BECK - ERTEGUN BROTHERS TO BE HONOURED AT MONTREUX

Music mogul brothers AHMET and NESUHI ERTEGUN are to be honoured at the 40th annual Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland with an all-star tribute. Ahmet, the Atlantic Records founder, will be feted with a tribute show on the opening night of the festival (30JUN06), while his jazz pioneer brother will be honoured on 2 July (06). JEFF BECK, SOLOMON BURKE, CHIC, PHIL COLLINS, JIMMY PAGE, ROBERT PLANT and STEVE WINWOOD have signed on for the Ahmet Ertegun tribute, while jazz greats ORNETTE COLEMAN, SERGIO MENDES and CHAKA KHAN will perform in honour of Nesuhi.
