Actor OMAR EPPS is finding the sight of blood on his hit TV show HOUSE, MD extremely nauseating - even though he knows it's fake.

Epps plays a member of the medical team led by British actor HUGH LAURIE's caustic character DR GREGORY HOUSE, and while he's been able to get to grips with the scripts' complicated jargon, he's yet to learn how to handle the fake blood.

He says, "The dialogue is easy. It's the blood. Personally, I'm squeamish, so even when like we're filming stuff I'm just like, 'Cut! Let me take a break. I gotta get myself together.'

"The whole thing - you know, cutting open guts - is kinda not my cup of tea."
