NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET - ENGLUND CLAIMS ACTING PRIZE FOR UNRELEASED FILM

The man behind NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET's FREDDIE KRUEGER has beaten out the stars of THE DEVIL'S REJECTS and UNDERWORLD: EVOLUTION at a new horror film prizegiving - for a film that has yet to be released. ROBERT ENGLUND has claimed the first Best Actor award at TheGoreZone Magazine Awards in England after fans voted for his upcoming performance in 2001 MANIACS. Englund beat SID HAIG (The Devil's Rejects), SCOTT SPEEDMAN (Underworld: Evolution), LANCE HENRIKSEN (HELLRAISER: HELLWORLD) and KRIS LEMCHE (FINAL DESTINATION 3).
