EMINEM - EMINEM RULES THE US ALBUM CHARTS

Rapper EMINEM is refusing to be budged from the top of the American album charts.

The rapper's ENCORE CD started the new year (05) as the US's top-selling disc after returning to the top last week (29DEC04) and it has now chalked up a four-week stint at number one overall.

The album shot to the top in it's first two weeks on release back in November (04).

Meanwhile, GREEN DAY's AMERICAN IDIOT rocketed back up the charts to land at number two. The album was formerly a chart topper last year (04).
