EMINEM is forging ahead with a Hollywood career and has signed up to star in a movie remake of the 1950s TV drama HAVE GUN - WILL TRAVEL. The STAN hitmaker will leave behind the musical approach of his semi-autobiographical 2002 film 8 MILE to play PALADIN, a professional gunfighter for hire. Eminem's manager PAUL ROSENBERG tells MTV, "When this property essentially became available we discussed it and brought it to Marshall and he was very intrigued and excited about the concept." Rosenberg adds that Eminem will also write and perform the film's soundtrack. The original drama series ran from 1957 to 1963 and starred RICHARD BOONE as the San Francisco tough guy whose business card read: 'Have Gun, Will Travel... wire Paladin, San Francisco.'
