Rocker SIR ELTON JOHN has caused outrage by branding the current black music scene "hugely disappointing".
The 57-year-old ROCKET MAN has turned his vitriol on R+B, hip-hop and soul music, because he believes contemporary US stars have ruined the musical legacy of their black predecessors.
He says, "Black music is a huge disappointment, compared to how it used to be.
"There is not as much great music coming out of the US.
"I find that music has stagnated."
