LATEST: SIR ELTON JOHN and DAVID FURNISH have turned down an $11 million (GBP6 million) TV offer to film their wedding, in the attempt to keep it a quiet private affair.
The singer yesterday revealed just his and Furnish's parents would be invited to the ceremony on 21 December (05) - the day gay weddings become legal in Britain.
The pair have also rejected an American television network's bid to screen the event to the world - even after they offered to donate the fee to the rocker's AIDS charity.
According to British newspaper The Sun, John told the firm, "Our relationship isn't up for grabs. Our love is sacred to us. It doesn't come with a price tag."
