Hip-hop star MISSY ELLIOTT is on the prowl for a man in her life, and has her eye on soccer superstar DAVID BECKHAM.

The GET UR FREAK ON singer most wants to find a lover who respects her dress sense, and insists ENGLAND captain Beckham could be the one.

Elliott says, "David Beckham is hot, but I've got a hell of lot of competition. Maybe I should find myself one of those sexy British soccer stars.

"The person I eventually find will have to like me and my style.

"I blame my mother for making me a tomboy. When I was younger she'd dress me up really girly in lacy dresses, so I went wild when I discovered tracksuits."
