Actress JENNIFER EHLE is refusing to watch KATHERINE HEPBURN's film version of THE PHILADELPHIA STORY before her debut in the theatre adaptation of the story - because she's intimidated by Hepburn's acclaimed performance.
The 35-year-old beauty is returning to the stage after a three year break to star alongside Hollywood actor KEVIN SPACEY in the play at the Old Vic Theatre in London.
Her character, sophisticate TRACY LORD, was first made famous by screen legend Hepburn, both on Broadway and in the 1940 film classic.
Ehle jokes, "So, no pressure there, then.
"Actually, I've never seen the Hepburn film, and now I think I'm going to avoid watching it."
