CLINT EASTWOOD - EASTWOOD'S DAUGHTER'S BOYFRIEND DIES

CLINT EASTWOOD and his family are devastated, following the death of his daughter ALISON's boyfriend, MICHAEL COMBS.

Authorities say 42-year-old Combs' body was found at the base of a Vail, Colorado, ski slope on Tuesday morning (14DEC04).

Combs had been snowboarding with Alison at the resort and reportedly complained of a headache early Monday (13DEC04), before he was reported missing that night.

Ski patrol members and crews that groom the slopes at night had been looking for him.

Coroner KARA BETTIS says the cause of death has yet to be determined. Bettis is waiting for the results of standard toxicology tests.
