Veteran actor/director CLINT EASTWOOD is determined to keep on working and refuses to let old age hold him back from further movie ventures.

The 74-year-old DIRTY HARRY star considers his mature years as a time to improve on his talents, not let them turn to rot.

He says, "I don't feel like I'm any age. Somebody says, 'You're 74, for Christ's sake!' Yeah so what?

"I feel I can still go out and run a few miles. I can do a lot of stuff.

"A lot of directors weren't doing anything in their 70s but I think you just got to keep expanding, keep growing. You got to keep getting better.

"I don't want to decay, I want to progress. I want to be better. I want to be worldly, I want to be smarter.

"I guess that's why I keep working."
