EAMON - EAMON FIGHT'S OFF BUSTED'S AIR HOSTESS

American star EAMON has fought off the challenge from pop punks BUSTED to remain top of the British single charts for a third week.

The British trio's AIR HOSTESS was a new entry at number one, after failing to outsell New York native Eamon's F**K IT, I DON'T WANT YOU BACK.

The first single off THE STREETS hotly anticipated new album A GRAND DOESN'T COME FOR FREE - FIT BUT YOU KNOW IT - was another new entry at number four with D12 and ANASTACIA making up the rest of the top five.

Veteran rockers MARILLION surprise success has curtailed. Despite reaching a shock top ten position with YOU'RE GONE last week (25APR04), the track dropped to number 32 yesterday (02MAY04).
