EAMON - EAMON CURSES TO THE TOP OF THE CHARTS

Foul-mouthed R+B star EAMON's debut hit F*** IT (I DON'T WANT YOU BACK) shot straight to the top of the British singles chart yesterday (18APR04).

The track, which contains a string of expletives, beat off competition from D12 and EMINEM to take the top spot.

Celebrating his success on both sides of the Atlantic, the singer dismissed claims his song should be banned - insisting his lyrics simply reflect modern vocabulary.

Eamon says, "I just can't understand objections to the language in the song.

"It's the way everyone my age speaks. Hang out with people my age and they will all be cursing."
