LIMP BIZKIT - DURST DENIES LIMP BIZKIT SPLIT

NEWS BY ARTIST ALPHABETICALLY

LIMP BIZKIT frontman FRED DURST has rubbished reports the band has split up, as they are already planning their next studio album.

The US rockers release compilation album GREATEST HITZ this week (begs07NOV05), but have deliberately kept details of the proper follow-up to May's (05) THE UNQUESTIONABLE TRUTH, (PART 1) under wraps.

Durst tells MTV.com, "Musically I don't think we could be in a better place than we are right now. It's an exciting time, definitely a time to make an impact with the unexpected."

But he is less excited about Greatest Hitz, adding, "A lot of times that throws the wrong signal out there. That's sometimes a cash-in time for any artist out there, and they always come out at Christmas.

"So I don't think any of us were ready for a greatest hits record as this time, but it is what it is."
