DAVID DUCHOVNY - DUCHOVNY: 'MY ACTING WILL SURPRISE PEOPLE'

DAVID DUCHOVNY has warned audiences they'll be shocked by his latest film role - because it's such a departure from his famous THE X-FILES character. Playing writer MIKE in THE TV SET, Duchovny had to change his appearance and stature for the role, something he's never done before. But he hopes the effort will pay off and finally allow him to leave his FBI agent FOX MULDER typecasting behind. He says, "Physically, this was the first time that I was really asked to transform in such a way that was different from the way that I look or hold myself. "If you were of the mind that I wasn't able to do that, I think you'd be surprised."
