BUDDY MILES - DRUMMER SUES HENDRIX ESTATE

Drummer BUDDY MILES is taking his old BAND OF GYPSYS bandmate JIMI HENDRIX's estate to court in a bid to claw back royalties he claims he's owed.

Miles maintains he's owed money for work he did with the guitar great over 30 years ago, and in a suit - filed against Hendrix's estate on Monday (20OCT03) - he claims he was paid virtually nothing for his efforts.

His attorney, BRENTON HORNER, says, "Buddy helped Jimi co-write songs during the course of their friendship and partnership."
